The Cutting Edge Project
Designed for aspiring barbers ages 16 to 30, this hands-on experience combines technical training, mentorship, and professional development in a culturally grounded learning environment.
The program begins March 27, 2026, and participants will train four days per week for six hours each day, building real skills that prepare them for future opportunities in the field. There is no cost to participate. To remove financial barriers and support commitment, selected students will also receive a stipend during the program.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to 33 students to ensure personalized support and a strong learning community. The only requirement to apply is a short written summary sharing your interest in barbering and why you want to be part of The Cutting Edge Project. Registration closes March 20, 2026.
This program is more than training. It is a launchpad for young adults ready to turn passion into purpose and step into a career that reflects both skill and community impact.
